As we reflect on one year ago – May 22, 2011 – and the incredible devastation and havoc the Joplin tornado had on Southwest Missouri, it is important that we remember the victims and salute the survivors of that disaster!! Yes, the band chose to play their concert which took sixteen months of planning to pull off. But we felt so much of the effect and pain of that storm so we just want to recognize on this web site the sheer will power and determination demonstrated by the residents and volunteers over the past year!! It has been a true example of how Americans always pull together and do whatever needs to be done after such a devastating event! God Bless everyone who has helped and is continuing to help ensure Joplin comes back even better than ever moving forward!!
